Dr. Kerry (Susser) Murray

Owner & Doctor of Physical Therapy

As a former collegiate athlete and now a seasoned athlete, Dr. Kerry Murray understands the frustrations of injury and chronic pain standing in the way of your goals. At Kensington Physical Therapy, you can expect to receive individualized care tailored to treating the root cause of your injury or condition, rather than just treating the symptoms.

Kerry has over ten years of experience rehabilitating patients with both neurological and orthopedic conditions. She helps her patients to fully understand their condition and encourages them to take an active role in their treatment. She takes a team approach, working with you and your doctor to provide integrated and holistic care.

Having completed comprehensive Pilates instructor training through the Body Arts and Science Institute (BASI), Kerry often utilizes mat-based Pilates exercises to correct muscle imbalances and improve body alignment.  She has completed specialized manual therapy training through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy and is certified in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (a.k.a. "trigger point dry needling"). She is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) and works with individuals and groups to improve sitting and standing posture, maximize productivity, and minimize injury risk at their workstation.

Kerry earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University in Durham, NC. She is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certified clinical instructor and a former adjunct faculty member at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.
